Paddle Out for Whales

Harvey the humpback with Chapter Coordinator, Helen and crew member Alistair from the Bob Barker, who has been on campaigns to the southern ocean to intervene with the whaling fleet.We all work on the whale watching vessels in Hervey Bay during whale season and are passionate about protecting our beautiful whales. Sea Shepherd Hervey Bay will again be involved in the 2013 Whale festival, check later on in the year for details.

25th August
Whale Aid Concert, Hervey Bay

4.00pm to 9.00pm at Seafront Oval, Esplanade, Pialba Seafront Oval comes alive creating a whale song for everyone.

The concert is 5 hours of awesome music from a fantastic line up of Australian artists playing all original music with a 50/50 mix of local Fraser Coast musicians and other invited performers.  Sea Shepherd will be present and would love you to come along to introduce yourself and check out the fabulous merchandise on sale.For more information please visit the Hervey Bay Whale Festival website.

Illumination Parade

Hervey Bay Coordinator, Helen with Alistair Allan and Michael May (both crew members) at the Illumination Parade, which was part of the Whale Festival which runs every year in Hervey Bay celebrating theamazing humpback whales.
